mdekstrand hmm, I sort of tried that. I was using Unison (cis.upenn.edu/~bcpierce/unison/), but found it painfully slow most of the time. Never got into rysnc. (To be clear, for this convo I’m talking about my external storage and its backup, not my external backups of my internal disk.)
