  1. I keep thinking about this and how someone might avoid it. It’s certainly a good argument (along with rampant SIM swapping) for transferring your main number to a VOIP provider and never giving out your telco-provided # josephfcox/1082685714066796544

      I suppose you could go a step further and prepay with cash for a mobile hotpot and use that to connect your usual device. You’d need to always carry it around, though, which would be annoying.
