octothorpe nuthatch To me it feels like an ‘on the other hand’ because I don’t see how using MD or Bootstrap is reinforcing Google or Twitter’s brand any more than using, say, AppKit reinforces Apple’s brand. Who should develop web-specific patterns and UI if not companies like Google?
