    daas_balabatim There’s an important sociological component: our standard 16 waking hours aren’t centered around solar noon. A typical waking day isn’t 4:00–20:00, it’s 6:00–22:00 or even 7:00–23:00. Even without DST, daylight is biased toward the beginning of a waking day. DST helps even it out
