RutiRegan Yeah, I hear that and am struggling with that line myself. My usual response to the “but it’s consensual” argument is that it’s only consensual because egal spaces exist. Orthodox is somewhere between ambivalent to hostile to their existence, so they’d rather it not be a choice.
