  1. There are a lot of spammy or poorly maintained global-hotkey-to-mute menubar apps. Seems like something RogueAmoeba could do really well, and I’d actually trust them.

      RogueAmoeba Or maybe build it into SoundSource or even allowing a global hotkey to toggle an Audio Hijack switch block?
